Folks, the SCC will celebrate 10 years of activity in August with an ASA Open on Sunday 8/14. The tournament should be played in Salem, MA (1st choice location) or CT. Details will follow.
Also, a 2nd ASA Open (not approved yet) could be held in CT on the last Sunday of August, the 28th, possibly as part of WASPA circuit. I'll keep you posted.
Cheers!

Ok let's update this thread a little..
The ASA Open of 8/14 will be played in Salem, MA.
The CM, Andrea Gasparini is currently in Italy for the FISCT Civitas Theater Extreme Works Cup in Chieti this weekend and the FISTF World Cup next week. He has plenty of "floor" space at his house for those in need of a place to stay; he's available for shuttle service from/to the Logan Airport; and he'd be happy to take his guests to a touristic tour of Boston and/or Salem on Saturday.
The list of players interested in the ASA Open (name to be announced soon) includes, but it's not limited to, Philly's Andrew Zunino & Todd Weber, NYC's Demetri Theodosiou and Manny Karagiannis, NJ/NY's Burak Tansug and Yusuf Yazici, the Towson SC, the SCC.
To contact Andrea, please email him at sbongalo @ hotmail .com or check with me through email, Facebook or this thread.
Hope to see you all in Massachusetts!

The event will take the name of 2nd ASA Salem Cup, 7 years after the 1st edition which passed to history as the only competition won by certain Jim Taylor: www.sc-connecticut.com/salem.htmlHopefully the talented Mr Taylor will join us and defend his title.
