Group ‘B’ Results:

2013 Christiana Cup Final (Consolation Round) - Played as a two game, total goals final with a 10 – minute extra time period if after two games the score is level.
Game #1 Zacharda: 3 Zunino: 2
Game #2 Zunino: 1 Zacharda: 0 - After two games, Zunino and Zacharda are tied with three goals apiece. With two minutes remaining in the extra time period, Jamie Zacharda was able to score and hold on for his first Christiana Cup victory.
Delaware Valley Open Knock-Out Phase:
Quarterfinals:
Andrea Gasparini and Neil Rivera play to a scoreless draw and after a 10 sudden-death overtime period; a shootout will be needed to determine the winner. Neil was able to merge victorious by beating Andrea 3 – 1 in the shootout.
Shootout Period: Gasparini: X, 1, X, X Rivera: X, 1, 2, 3
Patrick Sheridan was able to punch his ticket into the semis with a 2 to 1 victory over Daniel Cranston.
Semifinals:
Neil Rivera and Massimo played to a goalless draw and needed to go to a shootout to determine who will be in the finals. Neil again was able to prevail winning the shootout 3 – 1.
Shootout Period: Rivera: 1, X, 2, 3 Massimo: X, X, 1, X
Patrick Sheridan and Paul Eyes played to a one goal draw at the end of regulation but unlike, Neil, Patrick did not need a shootout to advance. Patrick was able to score in the sudden death period and move on the DVO finals.
Fifth Place Game: Daniel Cranston was able to beat Andrea Gasparini in overtime 5 – 4.
2013 Delaware Valley Open Final:
Patrick Sheridan vs. Neil Rivera
Both players were looking for their first open title. In a tough defensive struggle, Neil Rivera was able to keep his remarkable shutout streak alive going an incredible 120 minutes without yielding a goal. Unfortunately, Neil magic ran out as he lost to Patrick in the shootout 2 – 1.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this event and made it a great success. Congratulations to first time winners, Patrick Sheridan for winning his first open title and Jamie Zacharda for winning his first “Mary Jane” title. Special congratulations to Neil Rivera for his remarkable run to the finals and capturing his first runner-up award. Great job everyone.
