Trying to understand the offsides rule. When you take a corner kick, many times the figure who took the kick would be in an offsides position because he'd be behind the last defender and the ball after he take the kick. Do you have to use a tick flick to get him onside before one of his teammates takes a shot on goal?

Actually just thought of a follow up question - does being awarded a corner reset possession so that you have all 3 onside flicks available? Or is it still considered a continuation of the possession leading up to the corner? I'm guessing that because it would have gone off a defender it resets, but wasn't quite sure.
