I'm in too. Of course, I'm already working in trying to convince the various Jim, Miguel, Luis, Rick, Andrea, NY Turkish duo, etc.. But I'm coming regardless their presence. Of course I'm also playing the Veterans event.. yes! Good question by Dewey. Any website or players list? Accommodation suggestions? Program? Things are slowly beginning to look better in my life, and today I found out I have time off in July. So I apologize for the absence in these months, and I'll do my best to put subbuteo back where it belongs: on the front burner.

Dewey & Mass that is awesome news. After seeing your posts I threw a website together. (STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION). The website just highlights everything mentioned in the Facebook group (which is linked to in the Contact tab). I made the player list based on people who said they were attending in the Facebook event and others I have heard are attending via the forums or e-mail. I will work on trying to get Accommodation suggestions and a Schedule going soon. Dan **Guess I should add the link to the website...** sites.google.com/site/2011asanationalchampionships

Excellent! A very competitive field already. Please add Andrea Gasparini (SCC) to the list

Also, it would be nice if you can find some time in the schedule for the North Atlantic Challenge Cup XII.. Thanks!

Hey guys! Looking forward to the Nationals. Dan, could you post an address of where we'll be playing? i'd like to use it to search for lodging in the area.

8000 York Road, Towson, MD
Kind of a broad address because that is just Towson University's address, but it should do the job. Going to try and get more information out about lodging / accommodations this week.
If you Google Map that address. The actually location of the tournament will be in the building labeled "University Union".

Webpage updated. Added Adolfo Colindres and Andrea Gasparini to the list. I expect a few more so we will at least hopefully be over 20 strong by July!

Also. To those traveling and looking for accommodations/lodging for the weekend. Please email or message me before booking so I can at least look for places to put you up unless you specifically want a hotel near the venue instead.

I'm still working on my club mates. Jim bailed out, Luis is usually a long shot, I'm hoping to have Miguel and perhaps Evan..

I am pretty sure at this point that I will have the entire house to myself if someone needs a place to crash that weekend. I don't have any beds (except for my kids), but the house is pretty empty otherwise.
Give me warning so I can clean if necessary.
Is there an address for this. I don't do Facebook.

@dewey
Good to know you may be able to take additional people. Will keep that in mind.
The address is listed a few posts above.

Trophies ordered! Nice ones too Looking forward to the event and it is coming up quick! Couple more weeks so be sure to contact me about whether or not you are attending! Tentative schedule: Friday night: Player meeting, food, friendlies, draw at Dan and Ryan's apartment (8029 York Road, Towson, MD - Apartment A4) Saturday: Setup around 8. Play begins at 9 (maybe before for U-19/Vets) 2011 National Championship U-19 and Vets will play when available to finish groups on Saturday (and possibly further if time allows) Saturday night: Players dinner for those who wish to attend and hanging out at our apartment again afterwards Sunday: Arrival around 8:30 Play begins at 9 or maybe earlier for U-19 / Vets Depending on time and what everyone feels like, there will be either a Team Tournament and the Towson Open (FA Cup style knockout tournament) going at same time, or we will do the Team, U-19, Vets Finals during the first half of the day and the Towson Open in the afternoon quickly. I will be contacting a few of you about accommodations shortly. If you are traveling and don't want to spend money on a hotel room around Towson let me know so I can get you somewhere to stay. Let me know if I missed anything. Also for those of you who are traveling, my number is 443-472-5805. Text/Call if any questions.

Player list is still the same as before. Looking like there will be a few more Towson players attending.
Dewey when you get a chance could you make sure that everyone in VA / WTSL at least knows of Nationals (I.e. Rick, Mike Byrd, Andrew Giffen, Andrew Brister, Marco, etc) in a quick e-mail?
