Thanks to everyone who came out to play in tournament this weekend. It was good to get everyone together again and play alot of subbuteo! Hopefully in addition to playing the tournament, the ASA will be more structured moving forward even with the low activity seen now a days. Thanks to Mass and Andrea for making the trip all the way from up North. Hopefully we still got you guys out of there at a decent time this afternoon. Thanks to all the VA guys, especially Dewey for coming both days. It was good to have the others as well in the Saturday Open with Gregg, Rick, Marco, and Andrew attending. Thanks to the SoB fellas, Todd and Andrew Zunino, for coming down as well. Even though you ditched us Saturday night for some thing called "sleep" it was still awesome to have you guys playing. As always, I will be looking to mark the Delaware Valley Open down soon hopefully! Thanks to all the MSC guys for coming as well. Stuart coming from his college just for the weekend and everyone else from HoCo as we call it, made for a tough field as usual on both days. In particular thanks to Paul for helping me out significantly with the event. He answered a bunch of my questions over the last couple weeks and the tournament would not have been possible without him because we would have had no tables to play on! Sorry for dashing the feeling that is was Paul's year to win the Nationals From an organizers stand point the tournament went very smoothly and a big part of that is due to the other Towson guys who helped me out throughout the process. Ryan took care of food and Neal with registration. Certainly made the tournament a bunch less stressful for me. Not sure how Paul can pull off doing all three with 2 to 3 times more players! Thanks everyone for coming! I will post the full results that haven't been posted yet in the next day or two. I know Neal and Paul took some video throughout the week and as they come online hopefully people can share the links here.

Thanks to the SoB fellas, Todd and Andrew Zunino, for coming down as well. Even though you ditched us Saturday night for some thing called "sleep" I'll join them next time!! Thanks to you Dan for having me & Andrea over and for the great job this weekend, both on & off the pitch! It was a very solid weekend, great games, awesome venue and a renewed sense of direction for the ASA. It's always a healthy sign to see new people willing to step up for the good of the game. Hats off to the Towson SC!
