What's everyone's (anyone's) recommendation for bases that chip easily (i know...) and consistently.
I have a set of G2 bases and I can never seem to get a chip. I get the ball in the air, but its more like a high, hard shot, not one that goes up and arcs down. Maybe i'm seeking the impossible.
Thanks!

Most of us in So Cal use Sureshot bases as we find it easier to chip with a softer shot.

Great, thanks Simon. Do you know who sells these bases?

Rex C and Sureshots I have the easiest time chipping with. Back when Profibases were around those were quite nice too. Sureshots will have just as good a shot as the Rex Cs and cost less but sacrifice the ability to do really soft touch ups on the ball like Rex Cs can.
In my opinion, both these bases are better than G2s but I just never really got comfortable using a set of G2s. I know a couple players in St. Louis only use them.

In order to be able to chip, you have to get around your opponent defense first, Sureshots have a very hard touch, compared with other bases.
I would suggest you to go for Rex-C , Extreme Works[ any kind ] or the Belgian VST , those are easy to chip and have also a very soft touch allowing you more control during game play, you will probably spend more but you will have more pleasure on playing and probably overall better results.
